At Southampton 4, Newfoundland 2
The High Flyers scored four times in the third period, highlighted by a goal and added an assist each from both Koivu and Crosby. Hiller made 24 saves for the win. Ennis and Moulson scored the other High Flyer goals, and Morrow and Ehrhoff tallied for the Seals.
CHA 4, at London 1
Ryan Callahan was held to one assist, but the Cougar prevailed anyway, as Malkin pick up the slack with a pair of goals. Ward stopped 23 shots for the victory. Kopitar and Weiss each added goals for the Cougar, while Staal scored for London.
At Whitehorse 5, Lombard 2
Boyle scored twice as Lombard continued to be tormented by slightly above average Ranger forwards. Thomas made 26 saves, and Clowe, Elias and Grabner scored the other Whitehorse goals. Phaneuf scored his first goal and Krejci recorded his second goal for the Lightning.
