Radek Martinek's third goal of the season earned the Puck a tie with the Lightning, who failed to convert on six power play chances. Kessel recorded three points with a power play goal and two assists, while Pavelski tallied three assists for the puck. Stamkos scored twice, on a game-high nine shots, to lead the Lightning, whose other goals were scored by Voracek and Burns.
Manitoba 5, at Southampton 4
Stafford and Henrik Sedin each scored a goal and an assist to lead the Mudders past the High Flyers. Pominville, Glencross and Skinner added goals for the Mudders. Koivu, who scored short-handed 22 seconds into the game, Backes, Jovanovski and Crosby scored for Southampton.
