Recaps for games of 12-4-2011

At El Paso 7, Manitoba 5
Six unanswered goals by the Puck erased a 3-0 deficit. Daniel Sedin, Pronger and Skinner scored in the first eight minutes. El Paso answered with goals by Vermette, Martinek, St. Louis, Sharp, McBain and Marleau, chasing Niemi from the game. Daniel and Henrik Sedin each recorded three points in the loss.

At Ottawa 6, Newfoundland 2
Hossa recorded three points as six different players scored and Luongo stopped 23 shots for the Tuques. Brendan Morrow scored both goals for the Seals, and Toews, Chara, Gagne, Hossa, Couture and Perry scored for the Tuques.

At London 3, PU 1
Bryzgalov stopped 23 of 24 shots and Getzlaf tallied a goal and an assist to lead the Fog to victory. Connolly and Kennedy acored the other London goals, while Dubinsky beat Bryzgalov to spoil the shutout late in the third period.

At CHA 4, Southampton 2
Letang was in on all four goals, with a goal and three assists, as the Cougars skated past the High Flyers. Richards, Weiss and Kopitar scored the other CHA goals, while Alfredsson and Kesler each lit the lamp for Southampton. Ward stopped 30 shots for the win.

Whitehorse 3, at Lombard 3
Howard, playing in his second straight game over Thomas, made 43 saves to steal a point for the Stallions. Richards scored the game tying goal and added an assist, while Ryan and Weber each assisted on two goals. Stamkos and Havlat scored for Lombard, while Scuderi, Boyla and Carter each tallied for the Stallions.
