Devan Dubnyk stopped 37 shots for the shutout, and the defending IPSHL Champion Puck got goals from Byfuglien, who added an assist, Sharp and Pavelski.
London 7, at Ottawa 4
Goals from Toews and Perry put Ottawa up 2-0 early, but the Fog responded with six unanswered goals, two from Mike Knuble as well as one each from Kennedy, Erat, Cammalleri and Kovalchuk, to chase Luongo yet again. Goals by Couture, Lidstrom and Perry closed out the scoring.
At CHA 4, Manitoba 3
Foligno put the Cougar out front, but goals from Stafford, Gaborik and Ladd put Maitoba up 3-1 at the end of one period. Kopitar and MacArthur scored to tie the game, and Malkin won it with his fourth goal of the season with 5:44 remaining in the third.
Newfoundland 4, at Lombard 4
Lombard was unable to hold onto leads of 3-0 and 4-2 despite two goals by Ryan. Eriksson and Zetterberg scored the other Lombard goals, while Morrow, Burrows, Doan and Holmstrom tallied for the Seals.
At Whitehorse 5, PU 4
Jeff Carter snapped a 4-4 tie with his second goal of the game, and of the season, with 2:29 remaining in the third period. Surprise starter Jimmy Howard earned the win with 38 saves for the Stallions. Boyle, Elias and Kane score the other Whitehorse goals, while Ovechkin, Backstrom, Stewart and Giroux tallied for PU.
