Malkin and Callahan each scored twice, Weiss had a goal and an assist, and Ward made 29 saves for the victory. Byfuglien scored the lone El Paso goal.
London 4, at Manitoba 2
Bryzgalov was stellar, stopping 39 shots, and third period power play tallies by Koavlchuk and Lidstrom snapped a 2-2 tie and earn the victory for London. Erat and Vlasic also scored for Londo, while Erat and Stafford scored for Manitoba.
At Lombard 3, Ottawa 2
Power play goals by Zetterberg and Stamkos rallied Lombard from a 2-0 hole, and Burns scored the game winner on a blast from the right point midway through the third. Price made 33 saves for the win, allowing only goals by Fisher and Ribiero, 23 seconds apart in the second period.
Southampton 2, Whitehorse 1
Miller stopped 24 shots, and Iginla’s fourth goal of the year earned the win for the High Flyers. Myers and Wisniewski traded second period goals, setting up Iginla’s game winner, which came off a rebound of a Heatley shot. Howard, making his third straight start, made 27 saves in the loss.
